King Crimson & The Zappa Band will be rocking out at the Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on Saturday 28th August 2021*. They have stood the test of time, still connecting with people and giving an authentic voice to their band's heart. They will be joined by The Zappa Band.

King Crimson were founded in 1968 by Robert Fripp, Michael Giles and Greg Lake in London. Their debut single, 21st Century Schizoid Man, burst onto the music scene, instantly memorable and progressive. The art work for the single, known as the red man, remains iconic and striking as much as the song. Their debut album, In The Court of The Crimson King, was released in 1969, and became influential and progressive, standing the test of time – it remains their most commercially successful and influential release.
Current members Robert Fripp, Mel Collins, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Gavin Harrison Jakko Jakszyk and Jeremy Stacey will be performing and connecting with concert goers with their music and heart.
The Zappa Bank, tribute to the artist Frank Zapper, will be performing a mix of Zappa classics as well as rare and new Zappa Compositions.
