Formed in Manchester, England, when the band members were in school, sometime round 2002, After their phenomenal success with their first records, the 1975 are now about to release their third full-length album, “A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships”, due out 30th November and preceded by several hit singles.
“Our first three albums are the story of a person,” reflected singer Matty Healy, when asked about the sound of the new album. “It’s always kind of been my story… It spanned adolescence to maturity, success and trying to mediate the two, and the third one is where we are now. I haven’t really decided the statement of where we are now yet. It’s sort of difficult to understand the present”.
